Got both faces boxes and the vinyl set is pretty great. Every album they put out is incredible and all are necessary albums for classic rock fans. The 62 page booklet explaining their history also includes comments from others in the music industry. This box set is actually a labor of love from their keyboard player ian mclagan who now lives in austin texas.

Rhino have revealed that the five lp vinyl edition of you can dance sing or anything 1970 75 the forthcoming faces box set will be cut straight from the analogue tapes. I got the vinyl set last year having previously owned various issues of all the albums on cd. I can t imagine anything sounding better to my ears. Only played side one of first step so far but i hear warm flat transfer no compression or other concessions to the current marketplace.
